Tanta Gente Sem Casa
This is a documentary that stands along side with the phrase: "So many people without a house, so many houses with out people". Exploring this premiss, the documentary is about the people´s view of this phrase and relating it to Oporto´s homeless people problem and the difficulty of obtaining a house today. Interviewing real state agents, common people and an Ocupa - a person who occupies abandoned houses - the film engages people to question the politics practiced today guided by Capitalism and Profit making above all other principals.
This project was made by António Vale da Conceição, André Melo, Carlos Monteiro, Thomas Barnstorf and Samuel Oliveira in 2006.

Just a quick correction: "Some many people without a house, some many houses with out people", should be "So many people without a house, so many houses without people".
ReplyDeleteRight! Thank´s for the correction. It´s been changed.
